Thank you for your patience. Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to control how they get notified in meeting chats through RSVP to their meetings. When they decline a meeting, they will not receive notifications or see the chats in chat list; when they accept a meeting, they will receive notification for all new messages. This release of Microsoft Teams Meeting ID will be rolling out across Microsoft Teams Desktop, Mobile and Web and will provide an additional way for users to control their chat list by selecting which meetings they want to receive message updates from. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 161739 [When this will happen:] Targeted Release will begin rolling out mid-January 2025 (previously early December) and expect to complete by late January 2025 (previously mid-December). Introducing a new Microsoft Purview | Communication Compliance feature that allows users to customize their compliance policies by selecting specific languages for trainable classifiers. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 408533 [When this will happen:] Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-January 2025 (previously early December) and expect to complete by mid-February 2025 (previously mid-December). General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out mid-March 2025 (previously mid-January) and expect to complete by late March 2025 (previously late January). [How this will affect your organization:] Before this rollout, all available language models are included by default, often leading to unwanted matches. After this rollout, you can tailor your policy conditions to run Trainable Classifiers for specific languages, bringing precision to your compliance approach. Reminder: Switch to New Forms Data Syncing Solution by January 13, 2025Category:Microsoft FormsNummer:MC943681Status:planForChange | In MC855685 (August ‘24), Microsoft Forms and Excel provided a new data sync solution which can sync a form’s response data to an Excel workbook, replacing the old data sync solution which will be deprecated by Jan 13th 2025. Note: The new data sync can currently only be triggered in Excel for the web. If users want to receive new Forms response data in the Excel desktop app, open the target file in Excel for the web to sync new responses, and then wait for the file to update in the desktop app. Direct syncing support for the Windows and Mac versions of Excel is in progress and will be released soon. Impact There are 0 users and 1 groups with a total of 1 forms using the old data sync solution in your tenant in the last 3 months (Aug – Oct 2024). Action To continue syncing new responses from their form to their Excel workbook, users will need to update the syncing solution for each affected form. To make sure users have enough time to make the update, we recommend that you reach out to those users and encourage them take the actions described below. Please file a support ticket to Microsoft Forms if you need the impacted user ID list. What do users need to do?

[How this will affect your organization:] Outlook will help you compose emails more quickly and efficiently by allowing you to minimize your draft emails and quickly access them again from the message list or calendar view. This means that while composing an email you can easily get information you need from your calendar or other emails and easily get back into the draft you are working on without ever having to go to the Draft folder. This update will improve offline accuracy and overall performance of the External Recipients MailTips feature on Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android. This post is associated with MC834102 External recipients MailTip offline behavior update for Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android (published July 2024, updated to cancel November 2024). [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High): We will begin rolling out early January 2025 and expect to complete by late January 2025. [How this will affect your organization:] After this rollout, organizations that have enabled External Recipient MailTips feature will benefit from the client retrieving and caching internal domain information from the Microsoft Exchange Server. This improves accuracy for users who are offline or have unreliable internet connections and overall feature performance. Before this rollout, Outlook for iOS and Android calls the MailTips service for an External Recipient determination when users add recipients to an email. When the user is offline, we are unable to reach the MailTips service, so domain comparison is used. This change is on by default. Dynamics 365 Field Service – Summarize records with Copilot in the mobile appCategory:Dynamics 365 AppsNummer:MC946934Status:stayInformed | We are announcing the introduction of the Summarize Records with Copilot feature for Dynamics 365 Field Service. This enhancement enables technicians to quickly access a summary of their work orders, including key details and contextual information within the mobile application. This feature will become generally available in the Dynamics 365 Field Service mobile app on January 13, 2025. How does this affect me? When a summary is generated with Copilot, the system uses the work order ID and your security profile to determine which relevant data to display by pulling contextual information directly from the work order and related records to create the summary. By default, Copilot provides summaries based on a list of fields that Microsoft maintains. Administrators can change the summary configuration to meet their business needs. The default summary includes the following data fields from work orders and related records:

This new feature allows users to take remediation actions directly from their mailbox, streamlining the remediation process. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 464996. [When this will happen:] Public Preview: We will begin rolling out in early December 2024 and expect to complete by early January 2025. We will communicate the plan for General Availability in a separate post. [How this will affect your organization:] This feature will allow users to take remediation actions on Microsoft OneDrive files and Microsoft SharePoint files that cause a policy match. This change will be available by default for admins to configure. [What you need to do to prepare:] Admin experience: Using the feature To use this feature, follow these steps: 1. Create or edit a policy in Purview Data Loss Prevention for OneDrive or SharePoint. 2. Create a rule and select the required conditions and actions. Turn on User notifications and select Notify users in Office 365 service with a policy tip or email notifications. Then, select Preview and edit notification email:

Note: You can only use markdown mode when configuring the email body with actions. HTML is not supported unless no action is selected. 4. After you have made the changes, select Save. Select the users who will be notified. Save the rule. User experience When a DLP rule matches a file, users selected in rule configuration will receive an email notification. The actions will be at the end of the email.
After selecting an action in an email, the user will experience this behavior:
If the action is successful, the actions will be replaced by success message. For unsuccessful actions, an error message will be shown. Admin experience: Auditing Admin can track the action taken by users using the unified audit log in the Purview compliance portal and Advanced Hunting in the Defender security portal. This feature will reach general availability on January 13, 2025. How does this affect me?
