[Updated] Microsoft Copilot Studio – Block the access and recording of transcripts feature has been temporarily disabledCategory:Power PlatformNummer:MC1028937Status:stayInformed | Updated March 12, 2025: After further review, we have temporarily disabled the copilot security control that blocked the access and recording of transcripts generated from conversations between agents created in Copilot Studio and end-users. This action was taken in response to a misconfiguration that was identified within the feature after it was made generally available. We are working to address this misconfiguration before we re-enable the feature. An additional communication will be published once the feature is made available. We are announcing the general availability of a copilot security control that will block the access and recording of transcripts generated from conversations between agents created in Copilot Studio and end-users. This feature allows you to prevent makers from accessing session transcripts in Copilot Studio and prevents the recording of conversational transcripts. This feature will reach general availability on March 3, 2025. How does this affect me? This feature blocks the recording of conversation transcripts and blocks access to session transcripts. You can configure this control either through the environment settings under Products > Features, or you can configure this setting as a rule and apply it to an environment group. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness and no action is required. For additional information about session transcripts, please visit: Download conversation transcripts in Copilot Studio – Microsoft Copilot Studio For additional information about conversational transcripts, please visit: Download conversation transcripts in Power Apps – Microsoft Copilot Studio |
Introduction of Copilot Pay-as-you-go Feature in M365 Admin CenterCategory:Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365)Nummer:MC1028998Status:planForChange | In late March, we plan to introduce a new feature in the M365 Admin Center that allows admins to manage the Copilot Pay-as-you-go option for Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. This will enable M365 Copilot Chat users to utilize agents and be billed based on their consumption. With this feature, admin users do not have to navigate to the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) for setting up billing for Copilot services. Admin roles that have access to Copilot settings will be able to manage pay-as-you-go (Global admin, AI admin, and read-only access for Global reader). [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide): We will be rolling out this feature in late March 2025. [How this will affect your organization:] Admin users will be able to manage billing for M365 Copilot Chat directly in the M365 Admin Center, without needing to navigate to PPAC. They can set up billing for the Copilot Chat experience, turn off billing, edit billing for unhealthy subscriptions, and view costs in the M365 Admin Center. This will streamline the billing process and provide more control and visibility for admin users. To access go to Copilot > Settings > Copilot pay-as-you-go billing:
[What you need to do to prepare:] Admins should familiarize themselves with the new billing management capabilities in the M365 Admin Center. They should review their current billing setup and make any necessary adjustments to take advantage of the new feature. Additionally, admins should communicate the changes to relevant team members and ensure they are aware of the new capabilities and how to use them. |
Microsoft Power Platform – Information about the reclassification of Elastic tablesCategory:Power PlatformNummer:MC1029035Status:planForChange | Starting on March 19, 2025, Elastic tables will be reclassified from Dataverse Storage to Dataverse Log. How does this affect me? Following this change, Elastic tables will be charged at the Dataverse Log capacity rate, which should reduce the total cost of ownership for these tables. Admins can monitor their Log usage rate in the Power Platform admin center under the Capacity details page. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness and no action is required. |
