| (Updated) Remove toggle for Calendar in TeamsCategory:Microsoft TeamsNummer:MC1129730Status:planForChange | Updated February 11, 2026: We have updated the timeline. After further review, we will not be rolling this out to GCC, GCCH, DoD, USSec, USNat during the timeline outlined below. We will communicate via Message center in dedicated posts when we are ready to proceed. Thank you for your patience. We’re introducing the new Microsoft Teams calendar experience, designed to unify and enhance productivity across Microsoft 365. This calendar integrates familiar features with innovations like Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Places, enabling seamless collaboration from anywhere. It works consistently across Teams, the new Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, and Places. As part of this update, the legacy calendar experience will be deprecated, and the toggle to switch between old and new calendars will be removed. When this will happen
Once this update is deployed, users accessing the Calendar app in Microsoft Teams will see the new calendar experience by default. The toggle to switch between the old and new calendar will be removed, and only the new Microsoft 365 calendar will be available. This change may impact users accustomed to the legacy calendar interface. What you can do to prepare
No admin action is required. We recommend informing your users about the upcoming change and updating any internal documentation or training materials that reference the legacy calendar experience. For more information about the new calendar experience, visit the Microsoft Teams documentation. | Sales in Microsoft 365 Copilot – Sales Chat admin settings update for CRM record type configurationCategory:Power PlatformNummer:MC1230651Status:stayInformed | On February 2, 2026, we released an update to the Sales Chat admin settings that gives administrators a more clear and flexible way to control which CRM record types Sales Agent’s chat based experiences can access. How does this affect me? With this update, admins can now configure CRM data access directly from Sales Chat admin settings in the Sales app. This new experience allows Sales Agent’s chat-based experiences to access a broader set of CRM record types and decouples Sales Agent’s chat configurations from Sales Agent’s Forms Settings, Outlook sidecar, and Teams configurations. Any previous CRM record type configurations defined in Forms Settings have been automatically migrated into the new Sales Chat admin experience. Admins should still review and update the list of record types to ensure it reflects their current needs. Glossary / Synonyms configuration updates
Please review the migrated CRM record type list in the Sales Chat Settings and update as required. For Dynamics 365 customers, if glossary/synonyms configurations were previously configured, update the glossary/synonym skill names under each glossary entry in Power Apps from Saleschatdvqna to Salesspecificqna. Otherwise, configure glossary/synonyms in Copilot Studio. |
| Dynamics 365 Project Operations – Calculate revenue recognition for stand-alone selling price contract linesCategory:Dynamics 365 AppsNummer:MC1230796Status:stayInformed | We are announcing the ability to calculate revenue recognition for stand-alone selling price contract lines in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on March 13, 2026. How does this affect me? This feature enables users to set the contract line value on the project’s contract lines. The system calculates revenue recognition based on the contract line value amount. In revenue recognition, fixed-price billing arrangements are typically defined using billing milestones to establish the contract value. By separating the contract value from billing milestones, this feature allows users to recognize revenue based on the effort or stand-alone selling price. This approach aligns better with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 requirements. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness, and no action is required. If you would like more information on this feature, please visit Calculate revenue recognition for stand-alone selling price contract lines. |
