Please note that customers who are interested in joining the preview must opt-in. To join the preview, customers should file a support ticket requesting to join the Scheduled prompts preview. Thank you for your feedback. Coming soon for Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365: A new Scheduled prompts feature that allows users to automate Copilot prompts to run at set times and frequencies in Copilot in Microsoft Teams, Office.com/chat, and Microsoft Outlook for the web and Desktop. A Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 license and a Standard Microsoft Power Automate license are required to use this feature. To be eligible, customers must also have the Optional Connected Experience (OCE) admin toggle enabled, and configure their DLP policies to allow the Copilot for Microsoft 365 connector in their default PowerPlatform environment. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 401124. [When this will happen:] Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-December 2024 (previously mid-November) and expect to complete by late December 2024 (previously late November). General Availability: We will begin rolling out mid-May 2025 (previously mid-March) expect to complete by late May 2025 (previously late March).
[How this will affect your organization:] Before this rollout: Users are unable to schedule Copilot for Microsoft 365 prompts to run at a specific time and frequency. After the rollout: Users can find the Scheduled prompts feature by hovering over a prompt they have submitted to Copilot or by clicking on the Schedule prompts button in the Copilot response footer (references images below). After configuring their Scheduled prompt, when a user selects the Save and activate button to confirm the scheduled prompt, a user’s prompt information will be sent to the Power Automate and Power Platform system, and the Power Automate terms of service and privacy policy apply: Schedule prompt entry points

[What you need to do to prepare:] Managing the Scheduled prompts feature as an admin: To continue having the Scheduled prompts feature available in your organization, no action is required after completing the opt-in process. The feature is automatically included as part of the Optional Connected Experiences admin setting, which is on by default. Admins can access the Optional connected experiences setting at config.office.com If you prefer not to have this feature available to your organization, you can file a customer support ticket requesting to exit the preview program or disable the optional connected experiences setting at config.office.com. For more information: Admin controls for optional connected experiences. If you turn off the Optional connected experiences setting, this action will prevent anyone in your organization from seeing the Scheduled prompts feature in Copilot. If you choose to make these optional connected experiences available to your users, your users will also have the option to turn them by going to the privacy settings dialog box. To prevent exposing organizational data, you should also create a data policy in the Power Platform admin center. Creating a data policy in the center allows administrators to control access to these connectors in various ways to help reduce risk in your organization. (Updated) Microsoft Loop: Configure guest sharing for tenants with sensitivity labelsCategory:Microsoft 365 for the webNummer:MC923419Status:stayInformed | Updated February 6, 2025: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience. Before this rollout, guest sharing for Microsoft Loop components, pages, and workspaces is available for tenants that have not configured sensitivity labels, as communicated in MC736437 Microsoft Loop: Guest Sharing (March 2024). After this rollout and the rollout of Microsoft Information Protection for Loop workspaces, B2B (business to business) guest sharing for Loop workspaces, pages, and components will be available for all tenants, including those who have configured sensitivity labels, subject to admin policy. If admins configure the policy, users will be able to share Loop workspaces, pages, and components with people outside of your tenant. This message applies to Loop on the web and on iOS/Android devices. This message is related to MC923176 Microsoft Loop: Sensitivity labels at the container level (November 2024). Note: Loop will respect your Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft SharePoint sharing settings. If your tenant does not allow sharing with guests, then it will prevent guest sharing of Loop workspaces, pages, and components as well. [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide, GCC): We will begin rolling out in early December 2024 (previously early November) and expect to complete by late February 2025 (previously early January). (Updated) Microsoft Loop – Require Existing Microsoft 365 Group for New Loop workspacesCategory:Microsoft 365 appsNummer:MC929022Status:planForChange | Updated February 6, 2025: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience. Admins will be able to ensure that new Loop workspaces are connected to and managed by an existing Microsoft 365 Group, similar to SharePoint Team sites. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 422725 [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late March 2025 (previously late January) and expect to complete by late April (previously late February). [How this will affect your organization:] Once Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 422728 is available, end-users will have the ability to choose existing Microsoft 365 Groups for managing new Loop workspaces. This means that new Loop workspaces can optionally be connected to and managed by an existing Microsoft 365 Group, similar to how SharePoint Team sites are managed. Additionally, Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 422725 covers the capability to ensure that new Loop workspaces are connected to and managed by an existing Microsoft 365 Group, similar to SharePoint Team sites (it will not be an option for users to skip selecting an existing Microsoft 365 group if this policy is configured). While this setting may align with existing governance processes, it’s important for admins to note that scenarios like automatic aggregation of Teams meeting content into a Loop workspace, or the creation of small, short-term project workspaces, will be more challenging for end-users unless they can skillfully select an existing M365 group during creation. Please consider this tradeoff in your adoption strategy. If your organization has governance tools for SharePoint Communication sites that work effectively in a reactive manner (i.e., governance is applied after the site is created), Microsoft recommends extending this process to include Loop workspaces rather than using this policy. [What you need to do to prepare:] There is nothing you need to do to prepare. This capability will roll to your tenant automatically. |

Coming soon for Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Automatically label all or some assets in Microsoft Azure Storage and Microsoft Azure SQL with an auto-labeling policy. You will be able to clearly define labeling conditions for data sources in Azure separately from existing Microsoft 365 files configurations. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 429876. [When this will happen:] Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-November 2024 and expect to complete by late November 2024. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late June (previously late March) and expect to complete by mid-July 2025 (previously mid-April). [How this will affect your organization:] You can create new auto-labeling policies for Azure Storage and Azure SQL Server that allow you to specify specific data assets or ALL assets to be automatically labeled when the out-of-the-box sensitive information types are detected in a column or asset. After the auto-labeling policy is turned on, wait 15 minutes, and then rescan the scoped data assets. The assets will be labeled automatically. This change will be available by default for admins to configure. After the rollout, these capabilities will no longer be available:
Tip: After you apply labeling to data assets, you can use protection policies to add access control settings associated with the label. You will be able to select AzureStorage and AzureSQLServer workloads in the auto-labeling policy:

With the introduction of flexible sections, we have reimagined section templates that are located in the content pane toolbox. Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Copilot can analyze content shared onscreen in a meetingCategory:Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365)Nummer:MC998512Status:stayInformed | Coming soon to Microsoft Teams: When in a meeting that is being recorded and has content shared onscreen, Microsoft Copilot will be able to answer questions based on the shared onscreen content. Before this rollout, Copilot was only able to answer questions based on the transcript and meeting chat, and this capability will continue after the rollout. This message applies to Teams on VDI, Teams on Windows desktop, Teams on Mac desktop, Teams on the web, and Teams for iOS/Android. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use this feature. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 325873. [When this will happen:] Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out by early March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out by mid-March 2025 and expect to complete by early April 2025. [How this will affect your organization:] After this rollout, users will be able to ask Copilot questions about screenshare data, but only if a meeting is recorded and transcribed. If the meeting is only transcribed, users can still use Copilot, just without screenshare data. Copilot will be able to understand slides, documents, spreadsheets, and websites, or anything else shared onscreen. Users will be able to ask simple recall questions, such as “Show me the content that was shared on the screen” or more specific questions like “what was the Sales target number” if it was shared on a previous slide. Users will also be able to combine screenshare with transcript and chat data to ask, “Show me all the slides and the feedback on each slide,” or “Rewrite the paragraph based on the comments from the audience.”
Copilot can only answer questions about content shared onscreen if the meeting is recorded and transcribed, and if the specific slide, document, spreadsheet, and website is shared for longer than 10 seconds. This will alleviate potential accidental shares being used by Copilot. For example, if a user accidentally shares the wrong content and changes it within 10 seconds, Copilot will not have access to it. However, when the meeting is recorded, the recording will still have this information. Deleting a recording will also delete all associated screen data along with it, so Copilot will no longer have access to screen data if the meeting recording was deleted. This change will be available by default. [What you need to do to prepare:] This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to determine the impact for your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
