With this report, analysts and leaders can understand People Skills data and its usage in the organization, browse commonly used skills and areas of skills specialization, see how groups of skills are distributed across your groups, and explore the skills hierarchy.

A Microsoft 365 Copilot, Viva Suite, or Viva Insights license is required to enable People Skills data in Viva Insights.

This message applies to the Viva Insights web app.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 491022.

[When this will happen]

Public Preview: We will begin rolling out late June 2025 and expect to complete by late July 2025.

user controls

[What you need to do to prepare]

This report template will be available in the advanced insights app with no admin action required, but the following steps are required for the Skills landscape report to process successfully:

  • Before users in your organization can run this report, you must set up People Skills and enable the People Skills data in Viva Insights. Most organizations can quickly set up People Skills using the out-of-the-box skills library. You also have the option to curate your own library by importing custom skills. During the setup, make sure to select the option to allow People Skills in Viva Insights. After these settings are confirmed, it can take a few days for People Skills data to be processed and ingested in Viva Insights.
  • To enable People Skills data in one or more of your Viva Insights partitions, make sure your Insights administrator include this dataset when creating or editing a partition. This will become available once public preview starts.
  • Please make sure Insights analysts and users in your organization are aware of this upcoming change and direct them to the Skills landscape report documentation to learn more about how to use this report.

Updated September 23, 2025: We have updated the timeline. Thank you for your patience.

We’re introducing a new visual indicator in the reading pane of Outlook Mobile (iOS and Android) to help users identify messages from unverified senders. This feature aligns with existing functionality in Outlook for desktop and web, bringing a consistent experience across platforms. • “You don’t often get email from this sender”

This feature is available by default when the unverified signal is received by the service. There are no admin controls to configure or disable this functionality.

Status:stayInformed

Updated October 6, 2025: Following further review, this feature continues in Public Preview. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We’re enhancing the Copilot Studio agents report to provide more actionable insights with weekly data aggregation and active user counts per agent. These updates will help organizations monitor agent performance more frequently and make faster decisions.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 499421

When this will happen

  • Public Preview (Worldwide): Begins rolling out in late August 2025 and expected to complete by early November 2025 (previously early September).

  • Reports will now include active user count per agent, helping analysts and leaders better understand agent engagement.
  • Users with Insights Analyst or Leader roles can access the report at: https://analysis.insights.cloud.microsoft/Reports

What you can do to prepare

  • Review the impact of these changes with your organization and works council if applicable.
  • Update training materials and documentation to reflect the new weekly cadence and active user metrics.
  • No action is required from Microsoft Viva Insights or Power Platform admins unless specific configuration changes are needed.

Introduction

We’re introducing a new tenant-level admin control in Microsoft 365 admin center that enables IT admins to manage who can create org-wide sharing links for user-built agents. Microsoft Copilot Studio – Add enterprise knowledge to prompt builder with connectors
Category:Power Platform
Nummer:MC1166671
Status:stayInformed
We are announcing the ability to add enterprise knowledge to prompt builder with connectors in Microsoft Copilot Studio. This feature will reach general availability on October 27, 2025.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables prompts to use connector data. Previously, prompts could only use data in Dataverse. This enhancement makes your agents, cloud flows, and applications more functional and flexible.

What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.

If you would like more information on this feature, please visit Add enterprise knowledge to prompt builder with connectors.
Dynamics 365 Contact Center – Enhanced real-time translation
Category:Dynamics 365 Apps
Nummer:MC1166673
Status:stayInformed
We are announcing the ability to use enhanced real-time translation (RTT) in Dynamics 365 Contact Center. This feature will reach public preview on October 31, 2025.

How does this affect me?
With this feature, you will have access to an out-of-box solution for translation services, removing the need for your own web resources in the channel settings. The global RTT settings will still be available until the general availability release. The new default settings for real-time translation include:
  • Service representatives inherit the custom default primary language for translation services as their user interface language.
  • Configuration settings at the channel level rather than global, so each channel can have its own language settings.
  • Channel-default language will be the fallback language based on confidence scores from translation services.
  • An out-of-the-box web resource that gives representatives a default real-time translation for their conversations from Microsoft.
The new open configurations enable translation during conversations and allow representatives to:
  • Turn the service on or off for each conversation.
  • Manually change the language for receiving/sending and reading messages.
  • Hide or view the original and translated versions of each text message separately and/or the whole transcript to avoid confusion and additional mental load.
  • Retry translations if there are issues.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
Power Automate – Automate browsers using direct control without extensions
Category:Microsoft Power Automate
Nummer:MC1166689
Status:stayInformed
We are announcing the ability to automate browsers using direct control without extensions in Power Automate. This feature will reach general availability on November 5, 2025.

How does this affect me?
This feature eliminates the need for browser extensions, enabling you to more easily set up automation. Direct browser control improves reliability across environments and supports scenarios where extensions are restricted. Built-in failover ensures flows run smoothly even if the primary method fails.

The Launch browser actions include a new option to choose between extension-based automation and direct browser control. With direct browser control, interactions are managed through the browser’s native drivers. The enhanced failover option provides increased reliability by automatically switching to an alternative automation method if the primary one encounters an error during execution.

What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.

If you would like more information on this feature, please visit Automate browsers using direct control without extensions.
