Users will instead be able to choose whether they would like to enable privacy sandboxing. Read more about their update here: A new path for Privacy Sandbox on the web. Our recommendations below still apply if your users are using privacy sandboxing in Chrome. Thank you for your patience. Starting in January, Chrome will begin gradually rolling out privacy sandboxing in the web to 1% of their users, with general rollout happening in late 2024. This will impact some Teams experiences in Chrome. The recommendation is to use the Teams desktop client if you are part of the rollout cohort. [When this will happen:] Starting in January 2024 and continuing through the remainder of 2024. [How this will affect your organization:] Teams users who are using Google Chrome with this recent change will start seeing the following experiences:
[What you need to do to prepare:] We are providing this information for your awareness. If your organization accesses Teams in the Chrome browser, some of your users may start being affected by this change. The recommendation is to use to the Teams desktop client. Enterprise administrators can also use the BlockThirdPartyCookies and CookiesAllowedForUrls policies to ensure their users are not impacted, allowing them time to make necessary changes to not rely on this policy or third-party cookies. Thank you for your patience. Coming soon to Microsoft Outlook: Work hours and location information will be available in the My Day pane in Outlook. Users will be able to update their Work Hours and Location information from My Day and also see who is coming to Office. This message applies to new Outlook for Windows desktop and Outlook for the web. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 412618. [When this will happen:] Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out early October 2024 (previously mid-September) and expect to complete by early November 2024 (previously late September). General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early November 2024 (previously early October) and expect to complete by early December 2024 (previously early October). [How this will affect your organization:] Before this rollout, users can review and update their work hours and location information in Outlook Settings > Calendar > Work hours and location. This settings page will remain in place after the rollout. After this rollout, users will also be able to see and update their work hours and location information in the My Day pane in Outlook. [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide): Available now. [How this will affect your organization:] The integration allows you to connect Class Teams and add Teams Assignments right into your LMS assignments list where students can launch and complete them and sync grades and feedback automatically to the LMS gradebook.
