Microsoft Teams is now available for free. Due to the recent developments of the Corona virus, various tech giants are making free software available. This includes Microsoft and Google.
Microsoft is giving away free Microsoft Teams for the first 6 months. This is not new, but in these times of Corona it is an excellent opportunity to test Teams for your company and you can still continue your organization to some extent.
What is important is that if you want to receive Microsoft Teams for free for 6 months, you do this via a Microsoft Partner. This can be done via KbWorks or your regular supplier for licenses. If you do not do it via a partner, the promotion does not apply.
If you are a Managed Microsoft customer, you can request the 6-month free Teams variant via your Microsoft account manager (info on the Microsoft website).
And please note, this variant is not the same as the completely free variant of Microsoft Teams. This is a variant that is based on an E1 license.
If you are going to start with Microsoft Teams, you must of course also know how to work with this program. There may not be time for extensive training due to the Corona virus. That is why we have added attached links, which refer to all kinds of interesting content. Partly in Dutch.
