For customers with a Viva or a Viva Insights subscription, the Copilot Dashboard will provide a breakdown of employees’ actions in Copilot that contribute to their company’s total Copilot assisted hours. There is no change to the existing metric calculation. Customers will have the additional ability to view the underlying details for Copilot assisted hours with this change. [When this will happen:] General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early May 2024 and expect to complete by mid-May 2024. [How this will affect your organization:] This change will be defaulted on and will only impact users who have access to the Microsoft Copilot Dashboard and have Viva Insights subscription. Microsoft Viva: Meeting cost and quality insights will be available in Viva InsightsCategory:Microsoft VivaNummer:MC790789Status:stayInformed | In Microsoft Viva, we’ve added a new quality report for leaders in Viva Insights, and improved features to help all employees manage their time in meetings. Leadership quality report, featuring the meeting review card: [What you need to do to prepare:] These features are available to users with a Viva Insights premium license. Upon deployment, features will be activated by default for employees who have the Viva Insights premium license. The meeting cost and quality reports will not be distributed automatically, instead, they will be available to enabled employees through the Viva Insights Teams application. If you prefer to disable these new features for a portion or for the entirety of your organization, a global admin or Insights admin can use Viva Insights Feature Access Management (VFAM) to manage which users have access to these features. When the feature is disabled using VFAM, leaders will not see the meeting cost and quality report, and individual users will not see cards or nudges to help manage their large and long meetings. We are about to release a series of features that will help you to identify, consume, and act on content such as files, lists, and SharePoint pages/posts. In this first release in the series, we will roll out file image previews in chats and channels, to help users better identify a file in the conversation stream. When a file (such as a JPG or PNG image file, a Microsoft PowerPoint file, or a PDF) is attached to a message in chat or a channel, users will see a small image of the file without opening the file. To use the new file image previews, users will upload or share a file in a chat or a channel, and then see an image preview of the file content (and its metadata) in the message. Users can also select the image preview to open the file. When a message has multiple images attached, users will be able to select one image, and then click the right arrow to page between the other attached images. If the recipient does not have the access to the file or if the file is marked Confidential, image previews will not be shown. Teams message with image previews for three attached files:

This was made available via public preview on February 28, 2024, and will be available as part of general availability starting May 15, 2024. How does this affect me? Following the general availability of modern hierarchy security setting redirection, users that have access to the hierarchy security setting can access this setting in the Dynamics 365 portal. Users will now be automatically redirected to the modern UI in Power Platform admin center and the legacy UI link, “Manage hierarchy security in Dynamics 365” will be no longer available in the Power Platform admin center.
